Ali Ndume, Senator representing Borno South at the National Assembly, has granted bail by a Federal High Court.
Justice Okon Abang who granted the bail on Friday said the decision was based on the senator’s record of good behaviour in court.
MERIDIAN SPY reported Ndume was remanded in Kuje prison on Monday by the court after he failed to produce, Abdulrasheed Maina, a former Pension Task Team boss, whom he represented as surety.
Maina is being tried by the court on alleged money laundering charges.
