We As Celebrities Ought To Have Started The Protest A Long Time Ago – Rudeboy Apologises

Nigerian top singer, Paul Okoye, popularly known as ‘Rudeboy’ of the defunct P-square, has apologised, on behalf of the celebrities in the country, to Nigerian youths for not embarking on the protest a long time ago.

Rudeboy who made this remark via his verified Twitter handle, however, added that it was better late than never.

“On behalf of all the celebrities…… I apologise to all Nigerians, aswear we for don start dis thing since, but never to late. we move,” the singer wrote on Saturday night.

“We are tired of the “off the mic generation” we move.”

The protest which has entered its 11th day and has since spread across the country is about the need for an end to police brutality in the country.
