JUST IN: Nigeria Confirms 100 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Surpasses 55,000

Nigeria’s coronavirus cases have increased by 100 to 55,005 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the disclosure on Sunday via its verified Twitter handle.

Lagos topped the list of new cases with 39, followed by FCT with 22. Others are Kaduna-19, Oyo-7, Ebonyi-6, Edo-3, Katsina-1, Ekiti-1, Bauchi-1 and Nasarawa-1.

Fatalities also increased by three to 1,057, while total recoveries in the country rose to 43,013.

A breakdown of the cases as reported by NCDC reads below:
