Lagos State government has announced the discharge of 37 coronavirus patients receiving treatment at the state’s isolation facilities to reunite with their families.
The state’s health ministry broke the news on Wednesday via its verified Twitter handle.
Out of the 37 patients, five were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital IDH in Yaba, 25 from Onikan and seven from the Eti-Osa (LandMark)Isolation Centres, after testing negative twice consecutively for the disease.
This brings the total discharged cases in the state to 358.
The health ministry tweeted: “#COVID19Lagos Update Breaking!
“37 more #COVID19Lagos patients; 19 females & 18 males including a foreign national; an Indian were today discharged from our Isolation facilities at Yaba, Onikan & Eti-Osa to reunite with the society.
“With this, the number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos has risen to 358.”
