NUPENG Assures Uninterrupted Supply Of Petrol Amid Coronavirus

The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, has assured Nigerians of uninterrupted supply of petrol across the nation as the government struggles to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The petroleum union, on Friday, stated that its decision to continue the supply of petrol was part of its contribution to lessen the hardships and pains Nigerians would face as the country struggles to combat the deadly COVID-19.

As its own measure to protect its members from the virus, the union’s president, Williams Akporeha, said it will provide additional safety wears and other assistance to members in the essential supplies value chain to ensure that they perform their duties without fear of avoidable exposures the virus.
