The Lagos State government has reduced the ban on public gatherings to not more than 20 persons in the state.
This comes after the country, on Saturday, announced 10 more confirmed cases of the deadly coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 22.
The state government announced via its social media handles that the move was to further protect residents and prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
Recall the state had earlier announced a ban on gatherings of over 50 persons including religious places in a bid to contain the spread of the pandemic.
