Former minister of Aviation, Mr Femi Fani-kouyode has boasted that his party, the PDP, would force President Buhari out of Aso Rock in 2019 after their imminent defeat.
The loquacious Peoples Democratic chieftain, said this via his confirmed twitter handle on Thursday afternoon.
Fani-koyode made the statement in response to some members of the ruling party who have been subtly making comments which imply that President Muhammadu Buhari would not concede defeat after 2019 presidential elections should the PDP wins.
The ex minister who had accompanied former Ekiti state governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s office in Abuja on Monday, has been on the news for his vehement criticisms on the All Progressive Congress (APC) and President Muhammdu Buhari’s policies which he has often described as lopsided and parochial.
The statement reads:
“To those that boastfully proclaim that after Buhari has been defeated he will not step down for Atiku I say this: if he refuses to go we will march on the Villa, enter his bedroom, give him the Gbagbo treatment and send him to the ICC to answer for his many crimes against humanity.”
